Meet Your “Oklahoma Cavs” Dance Team!

I could care less about the Oklahoma Cavalry. I didn’t care when they were going to play here, and I didn’t care when I heard they were moving to Lawton. However, when I ran across this press release at OkieDoke, my curiosity in the CBA team, or better yet its employees, was sparked:

The Oklahoma Cavalry professional CBA basketball team has selected ten new members to the first-ever Cavs Dance Team in Lawton, Okla.

Choreographer/Coordinator Shelby McClure said she could not be happier with the outstanding ladies whom will represent the Cavs Dance Team this inaugural season.

“I am really excited to have the team in place,” McClure said. “Now we can focus in and start getting ready for the exhibition game and home-opener.”

The ten members of the 2007-08 Cavs Dance Team include Crystal Celsur, Allee Cox, Michelle Greear, Kristie Ihler, Jada Jedlicka, Natasha Mays, Cherisse Miller, Kassidy Skinner, Michelle Stewart and Eshell Williams.

Upon reading this, the following question popped in my mind:

“What in the world does a minor league basketball dance team from Lawton look like?”

Thanks to a great website named MySpace–and the stupidity of the Oklahoma Cavs for releasing the full names of the dance team members–my question did not go unanswered very long. After the jump, check out some pics of a few of the Cavs Dance Team members before the team releases their “official” photoshopped photos.

Crystal Celsur

Here’s a neat thing about Crystal. Not only is she a Cavs Dancer, but she is a former Honeybee! Maybe when we hire a Lost Ogle Magical Dance Squad, Crystal will audition. She can bring Honeybee Talor, too.

Allee Cox

Allee kind of weirds me out because she looks smart, which is not common for a cheerleader. She also looks 14, which is not common for an NBA CBA dance team member.

Kristie Ihler

This is the only picture I could find of a Kristie Ihler from Lawton. Hmmn. This is kind of what I was expecting a Cavs girl to be like.

Jada Jedlicka

So not only is Jada a member of the Cavs Dance Team, but she is the 2004 Oklahoma Czech Queen. If the Czech Republic is filled with the Jada on the left, I need to get over to that Czech Republic! And if Jada on the right is reading this, Dominik Hazek is my favorite hockey player.

Michelle Stewart

If I had to stereotype what a minor league basketball dance team member from Lawton looked like, I would picture Michelle. Also, if I had to guess what Michelle did for a living, I would pick this place (link NSFW).

Anyway, so that’s half of the Oklahoma Cavalry Dance Team. If you can locate pictures to the other five, post some links in the comments.

Ok… Am I alone in thinking that Crystal Celsur is a name a stripper or pornstar would use?

That can’t be her real name. I mean I went to school with a girl named April May Springs and another named Misty Dawn Hayes but Crystal Celsur??? No way!

Allee Cox is an interesting name. It does not bring to mind a female dance team member. Well maybe a member…

  3. 3 Grendel

Wow, I think some of these girls were also in the Custer County jail!

    My God !

I just read another blog and they SUCK big time. Now I dont want you (lostogle.com) to start inflating your ego, but you guys do a good job. The whole experience with other blogs was kinda boring and dull.

Anyway, keep up the good work and dont mess Gary…

But am I alone in thinking that Crystal Celsius would make a great female meteorologist name?

Just not very good at all. Not because they are unattractive, but rather they just seem downright trashy. Next stop, Harry Hines in Dallas. I’m just sayin’.

Besides this particular section, this is one of the worst blog sites that I have ever seen. Amateur at its best in my opinion. How boring can a website possibly get?? I know it’s my fault for coming across this site but thanks lostogles or whatever this is called for ruining my day!

    You’re Welcome!

Can you give us some links to entertaining, professional “blog sites?”

Something is broken when I’m fearful to see those women with any less clothes. Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t dancers usually attractive?

But then again, this is the CAVS and no one would know they exist if not for their horrible, horrible dancers.

Wow … some of y’all are really a harsh bunch. Does it make you feel better about yourselves to be so rude?

I hadn’t thought about it but I do feel a sense of warmth in my heart.

That’s rude, I happen to know Crystal, and yes Celsur is her real last name. And Crystal is her real first name. I’ve known her for over 10 years and no one has ever been so mean as to say her name sounded like a stripper.
