While this may be “Kaufman”-esque, this entry read a lot like that movie “Stranger Than Fiction” with Will Ferrell and Emma Thompson.

I have to admit that before Sirlurkalot’s comment, I had no idea who Charlie Kaufman was, but I figured he must have written Adaptation since that was what I pictured as I was writing that portion. Then I checked out Mr. Kaufman’s imdb page and the man is a one-note genius. Being John Malkovic. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Adaptation. Ned and Stacey.

The JLO is starting to read like a Charlie Kaufman screenplay…I suggest John Malkovich to play Gary England in the film version of JLO.

I like to mix it up. Sometimes the scene works strictly as dialogue. Other times, it needs more description.

If this were a classroom assignment, though, I probably wouldn’t turn it in with this format.

Why does it go from reading like a script to reading like a novel? Just curious.
