Several months ago, we contacted Jessica Schambach about heading out to the shores of Lake Overholser and recreating this classic video.  Clark Matthews would be the director, I would play Chris Isaak, and “Jess” would be Helena Christensen.  For some reason, she not-so-graciously declined.

That’s quite a shame, because the proceeds of all video sales were going to be donated to Feed the Children, Habitat for Humanity, The Cute and Innocent Puppie Rescue Mission, and Save the Pandas.  Because the video was going to be reshot frame by frame, scene by scene, and was going to feature me, we assumed it would net millions of dollars.

Anyway, what does all this mean?  It’s simple: Jessica Schambach dislikes hungry children, poor familes, puppies and pandas.  I’m going to blame Paul Folger for this.  Before he got to Channel 5, Jessica would surely have shot the video, because she has a caring heart and soul.  Now she won’t.  That Paul Folger is a bad influence on her.
