The OU twirler girl won an award (photos)

Back in January of 2011, we let you know that OU twirler Megan McGeary was good at modeling for photographs. We did this because we are kind, considerate bloggers who want to keep you abreast of all the important things happening in the Sooner state. And because we are chauvinistic perverts.

Anyway, Ms. McGeary competed in the USA and World Twirling Championships over the weekend and was named the 2012 College Miss Majorette of America. Here’s a picture of her with a huge trophy:

First of all, we’d like to congratulate Ms. McGreary on this great accomplishment. Lots of girls from Oklahoma post scantily clad pictures of themselves in tanning rooms on Twitter, and less that 2% of those photographs make this website. Therefore, Megan should feel very proud and honored to be on TLO. And congrats to her for winning that twirler competition. I can’t wait to see what routine she performs when the Pride of Oklahoma plays a rendition of John Williams’ cinematic masterpieces this fall.

No lie, someone at OU should probably have Megan’s body cast in bronze and displayed at Heisman Park immediately. Or at least The Switzer Center. They’re never going to find a twirler that hot again, unless Bibi Jones stumbles upon a flaming baton at her strip club in Arizona. If that’s the case, all bets are off.

Also, Megan needs to start sending pics like that directly to us instead of @-replying Land Thieves. Those guys are Internet dorks who post on message boards. They're not credible and cool like us obscure local social bloggers. They're just dorky lifeless guys who write anonymous crap on the internet. They're full of more scum and villainy than the Mos Eisely Spacesport Cantina. Hell, I bet the even chuckled at that Star Wars reference. Run away, Megan!
