This doctor who was recently murdered posted bizarre videos about police brutality…

Yesterday, Oklahoma City Police reported the 95th homicide of the year. The victim was a 58-year-old physician named Deepak Bhasin.

From KFOR:

Police find the body of a doctor inside his home after receiving reports of an attack.

Officers rushed to the 15000 block of San Nicholas Dr. around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday after a man reported an attack.

When police arrived at the home, they found the body of 58-year-old Deepak Bhasin.

Authorities say trauma on the man’s body is consistent with a homicide.

So far, no arrests have been made in the case.

When I read the story, the victim’s name sounded familiar. I decided to Google his name and then it hit me. He’s the nutty doctor who posted all the weird YouTube videos about police brutality!

Deepak Basin is a former physician who created a website called Police Brutality Oklahoma City.com. On his website, which I think he built while wearing a tinfoil hat, the doctor went on and on about run-ins with the Oklahoma City Police department. Here was his last update:

I had a court date on August 31st. I was given the option to plead Guilty and be done with all of this that day or, to plead Not Guilty and have another court date set. (October 18th)

I Plead NOT GUILTY. Why you may ask if I could just walk away? Because I know I am not the only one this has happened to and I want people to hear my story and I want JUSTICE for myself and for YOU!

I am a very well educated 59 year old retired Medical Doctor. I was arrested last month for public drunkenness. I was NOT drunk, I was not given a breathalyze or a blood test. I was ARRESTED and put in jail.

How many people has this happened to? How are the police not aware if a person is in need of medical assistance? Someone can be in need of medical help and the police label them as drunk and lock them up–This MUST STOP!

In addition to rants about the police, he also post bizarre reenactments of police brutality. By using the phrase “bizarre reenactments,” I mean Dr. Basin dressed in a skin tight jogging suit while being harassed by tall models dressed acting as police women and bank managers. All the videos are on his still active YouTube page. I posted some of the stranger ones after the jump:

Uhhhhh….here are some thoughts:

1. I really don’t think it’s proper to make fun of a homicide victim who was murder less than 24 hours ago. Sure, the guy may have had a few screws lose and posted some bizarre things on the internet, but that doesn’t make his murder any less tragic. Our condolences go out to his friends and family

2. I’m sure some Oklahoma City bombing conspiracy theorist is going to claim the police department had something to do with this. I’m going to go out on a limb and assume it had something to do with drugs or money. Possibly even both.

3. The bank manager is attractive.

  1. The “skin tight jogging suit” was probably worn in an effort to make it look as though Deepak had a Six Pack. Actually, it looks like he had quite a few.

  2. I rarely disagree with most things I read on TLO. I was shocked when I heard this news and could not believe what had happened. Dr. Bhasin was one of the best medical doctors ever to practice in this state and I could probably find thousands of patients who would agree. I had only recently run across the strange videos, so I can’t really speak to that. As far as being murdered for drugs or money? I seriously doubt that….. the man was wealthy and retired from his professional practice before age 50. The whole situation seems completely unbelievable. Sorry for the rant.

      • It’s also a well known fact that Dr. Bhasin practiced medicine illegally without a license in Woodward County for many years.

        • That is NOT a fact, much less “well known”, Idiot. Making fun of a murder victim is one thing, slander is another. (Although, I’d rather be slandered than murdered any day.)

          • You cannot legally slander a dead person, as they cannot appreciate any injury to their reputation. #lawyered.

            • Hey dude no one said they were going to legally slander him! They were going to do it on the down low, you know like illegally.

              Hhahahahaha, just kidding great stuff.

          • Sorry, the facts are against you on this one. You know that every physician’s license status is accessible publicly through the Oklahoma Medical Board’s website, right?

            Bhasin’s license expired in 1997.

For comparison, please search any physician (for example anyone practicing at OU Medical Center) and you will see that their licenses are listed as active.

          • Idiot, were you in Mooreland, OK where he was practicing up until the early 90’s? Well I was and it was very well known throughout the small community what was going on. And how am I making fun of him? He was my doctor years ago and I am saddened to hear of this senseless murder. And where is it you get slander. You sir (or ma’am) are a dumbass!

            • I have to admit I was also from Mooreland ” boreland” and he was a terrible and very mean dr. He was a very fake and unkind man. Just saying.

            • Hey, I’m also from Mooreland! (We probably know each other.) I’ll say that I do not think he was a great doctor…but I can’t really say much about him personally either way. He always seemed decent enough I suppose. It’s clear that something bizarre transpired in his time since Mooreland.

            • He was a very strange man. I recall going to see him as a young teen with a girlfriend for a bb physical. He was a perverf to say the least. No one does deserve to die though so I do feel for his grieving family but, you must admit if you have watched his videos he was very strange and disturbed.

  3. Where can I find desperate actresses like these to appear in my videos? I waited for the police chicks to say something along the lines of “you’re guilty of being too sexy in a no sexy zone” as they unbuttoned their rental uniforms. Instead, I was treated to a near-lethal dose of insanity.

  4. I knew this guy. He was really nice. It seemed like he had a few screws loose but I liked him. He came to Sam’s Club alot. I was saddened to hear about his murder from the news in the break room. May God punish his murderer swiftly. I had never heard of or watched his youtube videos before.

  5. That’s sad but I didn’t know him personally with the exception of a couple colorful conversations while doing work for him. Can’t believe he was murdered.

  6. I don’t know about this guy, but for awhile now it’s been known around city hall that there’s epidemic steroid abuse within the OKCPD that is making for some overly aggressive encounters with the public.
