TLO Trivia Night Recap: Earthquake Edition

10_10-Canterbury-22

Not to be outdone by our seismic activity, another earthquake struck California on Friday. That makes us the Golden State’s twin, aside from weather, politics, opportunity, beaches, mountains and number of Sally Kerns. Other than that, we’re exactly alike.

Don’t forget this is one of the last weeks you can qualify for $1,500 The League of Champions final. It will be held at 51st St. Speakeasy on May 3rd. Come on out, play some trivia and win at life. You owe it to me and your mother to do so.

Last week’s recap is after the jump. Here are some random Earthquake related trivia questions. Enjoy!

1) According to the USGS, in what country did the most powerful earthquake on record take place?

2) In what state did the most powerful earthquake in the United States take place?

3) In what year was the infamous San Francisco Earthquake that caused the World Series to be delayed?

4)  Multiple Choice: According to the USGS, which two states have the fewest recorded earthquakes? A: Alaska and Hawaii   B: Florida and North Dakota   C: Illinois and Indiana   D: Maine and New Hampshire?
