I hate games like this, and not just because my team lost…badly.  It was a game with no excuses.  On the surface, everything was in Oklahoma State’s favor.  They had the superior record of 9-2 while the Sooners were fighting to stay above .500.  Their leader, My Cousin Zac, was going to play while the majority of OU’s starters were watching the game from their hospital room like Gary Berteer in Remember the Titans.  A possible BCS Glorified Scrimmage berth was on the line.  All of this made me nervous even before kickoff. For those of you who watched the Thursday night battle between the Oklahoma State University Cowboys and Colorado University Buffalos, you may have been surrprised to see OSU take the field in all black uniforms.  Aside from the fact that their opponnt usually wears similar uniforms and the probability that poor emergency quarterback starter Alex Cate was so confused by this that he threw all of his passes to Buffalo defenders, Why The Face? 

It was Senior Night…likely the last time many of the team’s best players were ever going to put on their home uniforms…and they bust out uniforms that no one has ever worn before?  Brilliant.
