After a strong six week run, Ogle Madness III is in the books. This year’s champion is Kevin Durant. He won the Ogle Madness III Championship Game in an upset victory Ogle Madness II champion Kristin Chenoweth. Here are the results:
(3) Kevin Durant: 378 Votes (59%)
(1) Kristin Chenoweth: 270 Votes (41%)
That was quite an upset. Prior to her match with Durant, Chenoweth had won 11 straight Ogle Madness games, and she won them all in a dominating fashion. My gut tells me that voters were either drunk in the Thunder playoff Kool-Aid or just tired of a hot little blonde girl with a huge rack winning every game. It was probably a combination of both.
Anyway, I guess this means Ogle Madness III is pretty much over. We’d like to go ahead thank all of our loyal Lost Ogle readers for making Ogle Madness III a fun success and 29e.com for designing this year’s official Ogle Madness III logo. In all, we had 31,896 votes in this year’s competition. That equals over 500 votes per each game. I think that’s pretty cool. Of course, it’s not as cool as when Ashlynn Brooke solicits for Ogle Madness votes via twitter, but what it is
p.s.- We’ll have a special Ogle Madness treat for you later this morning.
