Sweet Brown was featured on Tosh.0

Oklahoma's favorite apartment manager turned viral internet star turned commercial spokesperson, Sweet Brown, was the focus of a Tosh.0 web redemption on Tuesday. If you like to watch incredibly boring comedy sketches that even the host can tell are going nowhere, you should totally check it out. You know, just to stay hip and informed and everything.

Web Redemption:

Extended Interview (This was more entertaining than the "Web Redemption")

I touched on this topic in the Friday mailbag, but does anyone remember when this show was funny? I used to watch it religiously, but now I don't even DVR it. It's like the only people who watch Tosh are little brothers and people who comment on YouTube videos. The first season was hysterical, but as the second season progressed the show stopped being smart and clever and devolved into boring (and disgusting) gross-out humor. Who knows, maybe Clark Matthews quit working there, too.

Here are a few other thoughts:

• Is anyone else ready for Sweet Brown's 15-minutes to end. I've mentioned this in the past, but I kind of feel sorry for her. She's being blatantly exploited and turned into a caricature sketch. It's like she's a catchphrase call girl. I hope she's making some money from all of this.

• Despite everything thing I said about exploitation, I'd love to have Sweet Brown host a couple of rounds of trivia some night.

• If you want to watch a funnier Tosh.0 web redemption with an Oklahoman, check out this one that Tosh did with the crying OU sorority girl. Remember her? She just wanted to make it snow.

• I finished this entire post without referencing a single Sweet Brown catchphrase. I'm so proud of myself that I could drink a...nevermind...ain't nobody got time for that.
