Street Outlaws racer nearly dies in Texas…

How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good. I went down to DFW for a quick little getaway. While there, I purchased cold, high-point craft beer inside a grocery store:

Texas sure is a deviant, dangerous place. I was literally able to purchase cold, high-point craft beer at a store that sells produce, cheese, bread, meats and many other edible things, take it to a house, and then drink it cold without having to put it in the freezer for 30-minutes... and lived to tell about it. I should count my blessings that I'm still alive.

On the topic of Oklahomans who went to Texas for the weekend and are lucky to be alive (and forced segues), check out what happened to Daddy Dave, one of the racers from Street Outlaws, in Amarillo over the weekend:

That's insane! Miraculously, Daddy Dave survived the wreck with "only" a serious concussion, bruised lung and medical bills...

That's a relief. I hope you start feeling better Daddy Dave! We give you Street Outlaws a hard time, but we obviously don't want anything bad to happen to you. Now hurry up and get on back to Oklahoma, a state where law enforcement officials will close highways and airports so you and your friends can race modified, insanely dangerous street cars for reality tv shows, yet consumers still can't buy cold six-point IPAs in grocery stores. Once again, is this a great state or what?!
