Earlier this week, I stopped by TMZ to find some current event celebrity gossip questions for TLO Trivia Night. For some reason, I decided to see what would come up when I searched "Oklahoma."
This article from 2014 quickly grabbed my attention:
THE WANTEDLife Has Changed ...BYE BYE LIMOS & CRAZED GROUPIES
This is gonna hurt a little for The Wanted and their fans -- visual proof the lads are definitely not living it up ... 2012 style anymore.
First up, Max George ... who left LAX Monday with his smoking hot GF Carrie Baker -- an Oklahoma beauty queen. Max gave us his take on life in OK ... and then took off in a very, um ... low profile vehicle. You gotta see it.
As for the rest of the group -- we got Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuiness too at LAX ... as they lined up to grab a yellow cab. No limo. Not even an Uber.
The times ... they have changed.
Yeah, I have never heard of The Wanted, Max George or Carrie Baker in my life, but after three minutes of Internet searching I learned that...
1. The Wanted is a British boy band that served as the Backstreet to One Direction's NSYNC.
2. Max George is a former "footballer" turned singer who performs in the band.
3. Carrie Baker is a stunning former Miss Oklahoma pageant contestant. I have no clue if she's still with the Boy Band man with the video game character name, but like most models with battle axe bodies that are hotter than sunshine, Carrie has a strong social media presence on Instagram and Twitter complete with a bunch of artfully done photos.
