Kirk Humphreys has archaic “beliefs” about women, too.

9:50 AM EST on January 15, 2018

It's about time for Kirk Humphreys to draft another non-apology apology.

Last night, an Ogle Mole sent us numerous undated audio clips of embattled homophobe Kirk Humphreys sharing draconian, misogynistic beliefs about women and their role in society. The release of the clips conveniently comes on the same day that Humphreys is to be seated, again, to the John Rex Elementary School Board.

Most of the audio appears to be taken from Christian-based workshops and seminars found at DiscipleLibrary.com – the "online source for the very best in Christian discipleship training resources."

For example, check out this clip where Kirk talks about the roles that God intended for men and women at home and in the workplace. They'll make any old, out-of-touch, insecure, judgmental father from Bethany proud:

What was your favorite nugget of misogynistic wisdom? Was it the part about how husbands lead and wives follow? How about the view that women are weaker than men because of their emotions? It's a tough call!

While you think that over, here's another compilation. This time, Kirk jokes about how he wouldn't give a fat, ugly woman a pen, and how most women in the workplace are not highly intelligent or attractive:

That's nice. If the whole school board thing doesn't work out, it's good to know Humphreys will always have speaking gigs lined up on the evangelical church circuit. He can call it "Behind The Times with Kirk Humphreys."

In the next clip, Kirk talks more about women in the workplace. Specifically, he shares anecdotal stories about the dangers of hiring "young, good-looking secretaries" and his concern that "one of the real problems of women in the workplace is the likelihood of an affair."

Yeah, ladies. Extramarital workplace affairs are your fault! Look at all the problems you've caused. And for what? You're ability to live a normal life, pursue dreams, make a living and support your family? That's what husbands are for!!! It makes me want to puke!

The Mole also shared audio from Humphreys that focus on other topics. Here's what Kirk thinks about the cause of homosexuality. On a positive note, it doesn't have anything to do with pedophilia:

Yep, that's it. Gay men are bred in homes "where the father's word stood for nothing." Take that, you wordless fathers of gay men!

Anyway, there are plenty of other clips available on this YouTube page. They include Humphreys' thoughts on Unions, homeless folks, Jews and even the Oklahoma Gazette. If you know someone on the John Rex Board, I'd suggest forwarding it to them. They probably want to make sure there are not any pretty secretaries at tonight's meeting. You don't want Kirk to be distracted.
