It’s 420, so rally, win prizes and read comics!

It’s 420! If you don’t know what that means, then you are not the typical TLO reader now are ya? This special day is celebrated all over and is probably a lot more fun in places like California, Washington and Colorado. But, here in Oklahoma, there are people who believe marijuana should be legal and hell, it could even help to fund our schools! So, light up and enjoy this very special holiday!

420 Rally
4-20-18  |  Wiley Post Park
2pm – 9pm  |  FREE

Can we talk about the fact that this starts at 2pm? The hosts know their audience; there should be a booth set up selling Funyuns, Pop Tarts and Slurpees. This is a voter registration rally focused on getting Gubernatorial Candidate Connie Johnson past the June primary and into the Governor’s Mansion. Johnson is referred to as the Mother of the Cannabis Movement in Oklahoma, that is really all you need to know! Our esteemed Oklahoma leaders have shown repeatedly that they have no interest in listening to their constituents, but Mother Johnson is advocating legalizing weed, in a state that still sells 2-point beer and no liquor on Sundays! Get out to the park and register, if you remember and if you can get a ride.
