Man Steals Tiger Shirt, Makes It Sleeveless, In Daring Metro Heist…

It's hot out, and there's only so much you can do about it to stay comfortable outside. When the heat index is above 90 degrees, I think it's absolutely acceptable to be seen in public wearing shorts and a tank top, even if you're not at the lake.

Some people will take extreme measures to let their pits breathe a little bit, and that means cutting the sleeves of their own t-shirts. It's a bold move to mutilate your garments in such a manner, but desperate times call for desperate measures. One local man is taking things a little too far, however. From Fox 25:

Surveillance cameras captured a man breaking into the laundry room of a metro apartment complex before he stole a shirt and cut off the sleeves.

Oklahoma City police have released video showing the Aug. 16 break-in at Winchester Run Apartments, 201 SE 89 Street...

The man can be seen using his weight to break into the laundry room of the building. He then finds a "Tiger" shirt in a washing machine and proceeds to cut off the shirt's sleeves before putting the item on.

Anyone with information on the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.

In all honesty, that tiger shirt does look pretty sick as a sleeveless T, but there are so many questions.

1) Why go to all the trouble of performing a B&E just to walk away with one t-shirt?

2) He was already wearing a tank top and gym shorts. What could he have possibly needed the extra layer for?

3) What kind of idiot tries to put a shirt on while wearing a baseball cap?

4) What would Joe Exotic have to say about this?

My guess is he knows the victim of the shirt theft. He was covetous of the sick tiger shirt, found out what day the victim did their laundry, and struck when the time was right. Although if that was the case, he probably would've already been caught since the victim could ID this dude.

It's just so bizarre that he seemed like he knew what he was looking for and took that one item. If you've got any theories, let us know in the comments below.
