Aspiring Oklahoma politician doesn’t know how to spell job she wants…

12:28 PM EDT on September 11, 2018

The woman pictured above who looks like she fell out of a Pottery Barn is Cheryl Baber. She's the Republican candidate for House District 71 in Tulsa – a GOP leaning district that was once held by our senile Senator himself, Mr. Jim Inhofe.

As you can see, Cheryl is running on the three-I platform of "Intelligence, Integrity, Initiative." It's a bold position to take in today's political climate, especially when you consider she misspelled the office she's seeking on all of her campaign signage and logos.

Check this out:

Yep, the person who's running on an intelligence platform doesn't know how to spell the public office she wants to hold. She'll fit in well with all the other "representives" in the Oklahoma legislature.

According to a Mole, the typo appeared on virtually all of Cheryl's campaign materials. According to the Way Back machine, the misspelling appeared on her website as late as August 29th – the day she won a runoff election by a 2 - 1 margin.

After learning of the error, Cheryl took the "initiative" to frantically scrub it clean from her website and social media pages. I don't think she showed the "integrity" to admit her gaffe to HD 71 voters. Maybe she's waiting for her webmaster to remove this image from her website's image directory:

Anyway, hopefully Cheryl gets new, correctly spelled campaign signage produced before the November election. Although she doesn't claim to be intelligent, Denise Brewer – Cheryl's Democratic opponent – has a campaign logo with no typos.

P.S. - Cheryl isn't the only Tulsa Republican to misspell the office she wants. GOP gubernatorial nominee Kevin Stitt misspelled Governor in one of his attack ads on Mick Cornett.
