Kevin Stitt signs “Oklahoma Cops Get Special Protections From Doxxing Act”

With the 2021 legislative session winding down, Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt is starting to sign all the (likely) unconstitutional, right-wing pandering bills our diabolical lawmakers have sent his way.

This includes HB 1643. It prohibits using an electronic device to publicly identify a police officer, which would basically ban people from filming an officer and putting it on social media. Considering electronic devices are now commonly used to identify bad cops that abuse their power and/or murder unarmed black people, the bill’s caused some controversy.
