Mike Hunter is officially divorced…

2:22 PM EDT on June 15, 2021

Well, that didn't take long!

In a decree signed and dated on June 1st, former Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter quietly divorced his wife of 39-years, Cheryl Hunter.

The divorce was settled just 10 days after Mike originally filed for divorce... and five days after he announced he was resigning following our exclusive, first-to-web report about it, and his steamy affair with Kim Bailey, the general counsel for the Oklahoma Insurance Commission.

Although it was filed over two weeks ago, the decree is still not available on OSCN. Fortunately, we had an Ogle Mole track one down for us.

I wasn't expecting anything fun like the saga of The Key Auto Group couple, but that's kind of boring. I assume all the juicy stuff, like who gets which vacation house, if they're allowed to eat at Burger King, and how they'll divvy up the down-the-road paybacks for the opiod settlement, are in the side agreement.

That being said, I guess one interesting thing is that their fancy and (I think) private Settlement Agreement Incident to Dissolution of Marriage was signed on May 24th. That's only three days after he filed! It's kind of like Mike had all his ducks lined up in a row or something, and this had been in the works for a while.

Anyway, I guess this kind of wraps up the Mike Hunter divorce saga... for now. Stay with The Lost Ogle. We'll keep you advised.
