Lost Ogle Show: The Final One with OU Law Student Jason Kersey

Hey look! It’s a new episode of The Lost Ogle Show!

Earlier this month, our frequent podcast guest and go-to OU football expert Jason Kersey announced he was retiring from sportwriting and entering law school.

As a result, we thought it would be fun to have Jason on the program for one final farewell episode. We talked all about his decision to leave the crowded field of sports writing for the crowded field of law. I was also able to sneak in some OU football questions, talk about his favorite memories covering the team, and who he thinks we should bring on future OU football podcasts to replace him.

Check it out:

Jason’s an awesome bald brother and we wish him the best of luck in law school. When he graduates and passes the bar, here’s hoping he comes back on the show as our legal analyst.

Stay with The Lost Ogle. We’ll keep you advised.

  1. Thank “god!”

I was wondering how we were going to solve the severe shortage of lawyers in this country.

  2. It’s interesting to see how many folks are switching to law. Anecdotally I have known several and they weren’t the best students in school. Then you have folks like Abby Broyles. Which all leads me to believe that law degrees are pretty easy to come by. You just have to have the money to afford one.

    1. Wow – if you can be led to believe that, then you can be led to believe just about anything. I hope I meet you one day….I’ll take you for all you’re worth.

If you think getting a law degree is easy, enroll in law school, and then report back to us how easy it was.

    2. Hate education much, Thompson?

  3. Mike Stoops is a prick…I’ve interacted with him either in a business or personal setting at least 7 or 8 times……prick every time. The “soy latte” story doesn’t surprise me…he has a serious inferiority complex. He thinks by putting others down that he’s elevating himself.

  4. When I first started reading this post it sounded like this was going to be the last Lost Ogle Podcast and I started hyperventilating and stuff until I read further down.

Y’all don’t scare me like that.

Best of luck to Mr Kersey as he commences new endeavours.

  5. The difference between OSU and ou football players… ou players take a pay cut to go pro.
