Danny Williams is still alive

It comes as no surprise to hear that KOMA's morning show was the #1 rated morning show in the Oklahoma City market during the last ratings period. After all, who doesn't listen to KOMA's morning show? And there is clearly one reason why so many people tune in: Danny Williams' jokes. Many people worldwide consider Danny Williams the funniest joke teller in history. When you think of the all-time best comedians, you think of George Carlin, Bill Cosby, Sam Kinison, Richard Pryor, and Danny Williams. In case anyone thinks I'm using hyperbole in lauding his comedic genius, let me offer this bit of evidence: Sources close to the situation have informed me that Williams is the person responsible for the jokes on the wrappers of Laffy Taffy candy.

Jokin' Danny Williams made his radio debut in 1947, and is still going strong 60 years later, at the age of 80. There are some who would claim that his time is past, and that he should retire and let new blood take over the airwaves.
