Charles Barkley caused a lot of controversy a little more than a year ago when he teased Oklahoma City Hornets guard Chris Paul about playing in a city populated by little more than cows and chickens. If Haley Luna has any say, he will be half right.
Upset that she was cited by the city of Oklahoma City for a zoning violation when she set up a chicken coop in what, for comedy’s sake, I can only hope was an apartment complex, this lady started a movement. If you, like Patrick, share her dream of having crowing roosters next door, you can go to www.myspace.com/urbanchickens and volunteer to help with her chicken themed art show.
When you’re finished helping Ms. Luna, be sure to check out this woman’s crusade.

I always knew that Joey and Chandler having a chicken as a pet on Friends would lead to copycat criminals.
I grew up next to a place that raised, among other animals, chickens. They are simply horrid creatures. I can’t imagine why anyone would willingly allow one on their property.
ugh. my mom is always doing shit like this.
“Come see the animals at Arbuckle Wilderness. The animals are waiting for you.”
if you go to her myspace and actually look at the chickens, you can see that these are pet chickens, not livestock. i think all she actually needs to do is get an exotic pet license.
