I was all set to write a post today complaining about the westbound lanes of 23rd street being closed between Western and Classen. That construction was causing me to lose valuable seconds of my life that could be spent doing something productive like volunteering at a soup kitchen or watching television. But then I noticed that they had been re-opened today, so I have nothing to say.
Instead, in honor of 23rd Street being re-opened, a poll. Which is the better 23rdish and Classen landmark? The gold dome or the milk bottle?

I’ll bite. Gold dome for sure. When I was a boi growing up in MWC, this was the highlight to the big trip to “the city.”
Hmmmmmm….when it all comes down to it; considering Global Warming, the war in Iraq, the war on terror, the income tax deadline quickly approaching, the multitude of rogue asteroids pinballing themselves closer and closer to the ever decreasing ozone layer of our planet, and finally when we’re going to begin to see Chuck again - who really gives a rip? Both are as ugly as our Elephants but at least their going to get laid.
