Jimmy Kimmel named Sweet Brown the 2012 Clip of the Year

I’m a couple of days late on this, but Sweet Brown’s famous rant was named the 2012 Clip of the Year by Jimmy Kimmel. She showed up in Los Angeles to accept the award. The clip includes other viral videos from 2012 and is kind of funny:

That’s pretty cool. By the way, we totally need to get Ijaz Fahted or Daw Keibals on the big screen at a Thunder game. Aint nobody got time for that!!! Eh, sorry.

Anyway, can we go ahead and designate 2012 the year of Sweet Brown? Seriously, has any Oklahoman had a better year than her? I can’t think of one. She’s gone from managing an apartment complex to becoming a pop culture celebrity, a commercial spokesperson and even being cured of bronchitis.

Also, Kimmel isn’t the first person on the national stage to honor Sweet Brown. Tosh profiled her in a web redemption back in October, and last week she was Andy Cohen’s Hanukkah surprise on “Watch What Happens Live!” According to Spencer, it’s the best show on TV:

  1. Oswald says:

I watched the Andy Cohen show where Aisha Tyler and Shermar Moore were the guests and Sweet Brown was the guest bartender. It was awesome. Sweet was on Shermar like arrogant on Gundy.

  2. L. Clifford Fisk says:

“She’s gone from managing an apartment complex to becoming a pop culture celebrity”. Shouldn’t that be “cold pop culture celebrity”?

  3. Taterballs says:

Sweet Jesus. I ain’t got time for this.
