OKC is turning into Pawnee, Indiana…

You may have noticed a lack of political content on this site over the last couple of weeks. In fact, the last post we labeled as politics was that video of Ralph Shortey's buddy reminding us why our state is being run into the ground.

This is for several reasons...

1. I was getting sick of the topic and needed a break. Sanity is important. All work and no play makes Pat a dull boy.

2. Thanks to a former OU cheerleader, former OU football player and the closing of Baker Street, we got about a week's worth of Internet traffic in one day.

3. We're transitioning TLO into a lifestyle / recipe blog.

Anyway, don't be too concerned. I'll get back in the flow of angry foul-mouthed political content over the next few weeks. Until then, here's a video of some City of Oklahoma City employee impersonating Ron Swanson...

First of

That's sweet. It's good to see our city employees enjoying their jobs and making quality parody videos of cancelled TV shows I never watched. I know we're on a no politics streak right now, but maybe next time they can film Jon Swanson patching potholes on NW 23rd? That way we can at least get some practical use out of our tax dollars.
