Before we go into hibernation over the holidays, I wanted to tell you about a cool Festivus Miracle Weekend we’re putting together with our friends at Anthem Brewing to benefit my personal favorite charity – The Human Fund.
The festivities get started tomorrow night with Anthem’s annual Festivus Party. The celebration runs from 5pm to 9pm and is tailor made for the latex salesman inside all of us. Ceremonies include – the lighting of the Anthem Brewing Festivus pole, feats of strength and, of course, the airing of grievances. We'll have two food trucks on site – The Mighty Corndog AND Top-A-Waffle – a tons of fun, games, prizes, and tasty, Oklahoma crafted beer.
If we’re lucky, we may even have a bagel strike!
On Sunday, we’ll be back at Anthem Tap Room at 2pm for a special Christmas-themed edition of Lost Ogle Trivia. It's a fun, neat little thing to do if you want a Sunday beer, or need to kill to with annoying relatives who arrived in town early. Prizes include Anthem Bucks and the joy of playing Lost Ogle Trivia.
