Since President Biden has taken office, it seems as though many Oklahoma politicians have either gone insane or already were and we were just so traumatized by the past few years to really notice. Remember that bid for religious freedom a couple weeks ago? Now it seems like the Oklahoma Senate has gone one step further—but predictable!—and have introduced a bill to turn this stolen land into a sanctuary state for guns of all races, creeds and colors.
Filed by Sen. Warren Hamilton—do you really need that R by his name to know he’s an R?—and recently passed by the Senate Public Safety Committee, Senate Bill 631, if made into law, will turn Oklahoma into an official “Second Amendment Sanctuary State” and will prohibit the government from making laws that would infringe on the rights of somewhat Caucasian Christians with itchy trigger fingers.
“SB 631 states that the gun laws as they exist today are as restrictive as they’re ever going to be, and that they cannot be added to,” Hamilton said. “No governmental agency has the Constitutional authority to restrict magazines, ammunition, modern sporting rifles or AR pistols. This bill is simply a red line that clearly defines the limits of governmental authority regarding our unalienable, God-given, blood-bought, constitutionally guaranteed right to keep and bear arms.”
Now I’m not going to get into what types of guns and rifles people should have, because, really, that’s an ultimately pointless exercise; I mean, legal or illegal, the fine people of this finer state are going to shoot whatever they want and, as recent whites-only demonstrations around the state have despairingly shown us, parade around with them openly in public squares with no fear of the law or, honestly, God himself.
